If you are getting harrassing calls from this number, the answer is yes. By filing a complaint, you are making the nature of the calls known to more people, including the caller. The more complaints a certain number receives, the more exposure it gets. This helps make the calls stop by reducing the efficiency of the caller's operations.
This company keeps calling me even after complaining to the National Do Not Call Registry. Number changes but still get the same message and if I talk to someone to have them take me off their call list they hang up.

Spread the word... My search indicated that this new number, (303) 217-1074 is being provided by a company called, MCI Metro Access Transmission Services whose d/b/a is Verizon Access Transmission Services (AKA: Verizon Business). I have filed complaints with the FTC several times, and did so again after getting 2 calls from this number, but this time, I decided to contact the provider of the number, after getting the full voicemail box notice for "Mike Anderson".
After calling Verizon's regular customer service number, I was directed to the Verizon Unlawful Call Center, which apparently is dedicated to these types of issues (link below). Unfortunately, I was 2 minutes too late (they close at 5pm), but I will definitely try again during regular business hours and suggest you do the same.

This number keeps calling my cell phone number, I've used there automatic removal of my number, but the keep calling. I've talked to a person but they hang up on me. I'm on the do not call list, I don't know what else to do.

Keep getting calls on both home and cell. They said they would remove my name, have not. Our phone numbers are listred with the National Do Not Call Registry. Tried to call back the number they last called from and the message was that they are the National Do Not Call Registry so I hung up knowing that that is not the case.

I'm getting calls from this number numerous times during the day and into the late evening hours as well.
My cell phone number is registered on the Do Not Call List so this shouldn't be happening.
I want the calls to stop!!! I have a sick, elderly parent that I take care of and don't need these calls coming in.

Calls and doesn't leave messages. Belongs to a scam financial company in East LA. Please report your issues to the FCC on their website, it's the only way to get this shut down.

I received a call today from this number. I looked it up and it sounds like it is a scam set up to get bank account and credit card numbers.

This caller is targeting prepaid phone numbers and using up the minutes of the cell phone minutes in order to get a response. Fines should be imposed against this number and dispersed to those who were called to reimburse them for what was wrongfully taken.

This number continuously calls my cell phone when both my cell and my home numbers are on the do not call registry. I don't answer & they never leave a message.
