If you are getting harrassing calls from this number, the answer is yes. By filing a complaint, you are making the nature of the calls known to more people, including the caller. The more complaints a certain number receives, the more exposure it gets. This helps make the calls stop by reducing the efficiency of the caller's operations.
There are not a whole lot of instances where you may need to identify the owner of an unknown cell phone number; but, I'll tell you what, when the occasion arises, a trusted and reliable reverse cell phone lookup directory is good to have at your disposal.

Calling claiming to be from Microsoft inc. claiming they have been getting reports from my computer of having malicious software on my computer and wanting me to allow them access to my system so they can fix it.
2 times i had phone number show up on caller Id and call was interrupted by disconnection and 3rd time caller ID showed from private number.

calls at least twice a day recently and no reply when I answer, just a blank line. driving me crazy.

First time called and told me I had classified files downloaded to my computer and that they needed to be deleted. Told me to press specific keys on the computer. The connection was very noisey and when I asked him to repeat himself a couple times because of the bad connection he started getting annoyed with me. I passed the phone to my husband who repeated that we had a bad connection and that he should call back. An hour later when we were out the caller called again. That was a couple months ago. Today they tried again but we didn't answer.

person says they are an atty from a legal dept calling me on a payday loan and they are leaving me very threatening messages, have no idea what they are talking about!

Woman, proceeded to insult my wife and tell her that she was my girlfriend. She would not info us of who she was or what she was calling about. Don't know anyone in California, much less want to know anyone from Cal.

They have called me 11;44am, 11:46am, 4:14pm and 6:29pm just today. They are using profane language and keep harrassing me. That is only today. They have been calling me every single day. Please help.
