MCIPE Constructors & Professional Engineers Awarded Four Projects That Totals $568 Million
Atlanta, GA – July 23, 2010 – MCIPE Constructors and Professional Engineers, a trusted civil and building construction organization, declared yesterday that it has acquired four new contracts totaling around $568 million. The projects were granted by various public commissions Washington, Pennsylvania, and Missouri respectively. MCIPE will work as Prime Contractor in each contract.
The Lake Tollerton Tunnel contract, valued roughly $179 million, was granted to MCIPE Constructors & Professional Engineers on Monday, July 19, 2010. The contract encompasses a new water transmission tunnel in Johnson, Pennsylvania. The unique tunnel will be 3.5 miles long and is approximated to be finished in approximately 48 months.
The Washington Heights Bridge contract is a $187 million deck improvement and rehabilitation project of the Washington Heights Bridge, the key crosspoint between Davidson and Putnam Counties, Pennsylvania. MCIPE will replace a total of 420,000 square feet of decrepit bridge deck over a span of 2.5 miles. Work is projected to get started in September 2010 and end by November 2012.
The Spokane Bay Bridge contract, which allows for a $95 million urban renewal of the Spokane Bay Bridge, was granted to MCIPE Constructors and Professional Engineers on July 7, 2010. The project will involve of bridge deck rebuilding and varied structural, roadway and lighting upgrades on the bridge and approach spans. Work is anticipated to get started in October 2010 and finish in August 2013.
The Highway 243 Expansion contract is a $107 million highway renovation and extension project. MCIPE will modernize and broaden 25 miles of the highway. Work is predicted to get started in August 2010 and finish in May of 2012.
